Kendyl Arden

Blending Insight, Creativity, and Compassion in Trauma-Informed Therapy

Kendyl Arden brings a thoughtful blend of clinical depth, creative expression, and relational warmth to her work at Console Counseling. As both a counselor and a Registered Art Therapist–Provisional (ATR-P), Kendyl supports adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions. Her work reflects the belief that healing is not about fixing what is “broken,” but about strengthening connection—to yourself, to others, and to a grounded sense of safety.

Art Therapist and Counselor

  • Age Groups: Adults and Adolescents (13–17)
  • Specialties: Art Therapy, Trauma & Complex Trauma, Attachment and Relational Healing

Kendyl integrates trauma-informed therapy, attachment-based work, mindfulness, and somatic-oriented approaches to support healing, self-discovery, and emotional safety.

  • Art Therapy: As an art therapist, Kendyl offers creative expression as a powerful therapeutic tool. Art therapy allows clients to explore emotions and experiences that may be difficult to express through words alone.
  • Trauma-Informed Therapy: Her work recognizes the lasting impact of trauma on the mind and body. Kendyl creates a safe, supportive space where clients can process experiences without feeling overwhelmed or judged.
  • Attachment-Based Therapy: This approach explores how early relationships influence emotional patterns and connections in adulthood, helping clients build healthier and more secure relationships.
  • Somatic-Oriented Therapy: Kendyl incorporates body-based awareness to help clients recognize how stress and trauma are held physically, allowing them to reconnect with a sense of safety and regulation.
  • Humanistic and Existential Therapy: These approaches focus on personal meaning, authenticity, and self-discovery, encouraging clients to explore their values, identity, and purpose.

Kendyl is also passionate about art therapy group facilitation and curriculum development, and she welcomes opportunities to incorporate creative therapeutic groups within the Console Counseling community.
